Terri Lynne (Gerlach) Searles, 48, of La Grande, died July 2 at St. Alphonsos Medical Center in Boise. A graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Island City Cemetery.
Terri was born July 16, 1958, to Harlin and La Velle Gerlach in La Grande. She graduated from La Grande High School in 1976.
Terri was a member of the Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church in Island City. She was formerly a member of the La Grande Emblem Club. She enjoyed arts and crafts, working in the yard and flower gardening.
Survivors include her children, Josh and his wife, Amber Searles, of Boise, Cody Searles of Florida and Jessica Searles of Boise; two grandsons; parents, Harlin and La Velle Gerlach of Island City; sister, Tammy Gerlach of Boring; aunt, Donna Booth; uncle, Ron Gerlach; nephews and a niece; great-aunts Freida Johnson, Beulah Taal and Aileen Taal; great-uncle Wes Taal; and best friend, Mick Alam.
Memorial contributions may be made to any charity in care of Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 Seventh St., La Grande 97850.
